Welcome and Captcha
You can set a welcome message for when a user joins your group, it will say hello and display your group's description.
If you experience a lot of bot users, you can also enable a captcha to confirm the user is human.
Start a new settings session
Navigate to Welcome and Captcha settings: Chat Management > Welcome and Captcha
Tap whether the Welcome Message should be enabled or disabled
A tick (✓) designates that the feature is enabled.
A captcha can only be selected whilst the welcome message is enabled. When enabled, a new user will automatically be muted upon joining your group. Only after the captcha is successful, will the user be unmuted and able to chat.
Start a new settings session
Navigate to Welcome and Captcha settings: Chat Management > Welcome and Captcha
Enable Welcome Message
Tap the type of captcha to enable
A tick (✓) designates that the feature is enabled.
Provides a basic callback button for the user to press. Upon the single button being pressed, if the correct user will be unmuted.
